Green Island School chooses ETA pellet boiler

Following a formal tender process, Spark Energy secured the contract to supply and install a new pellet boiler system at Green Island School. The system will comprise two 95kW ETA PEK pellet boilers with a pneumatic pellet extraction system, supported by a large buffer tank capacity. The new pellet-fired system will replace an ageing coal boiler and following a detailed review by the school's consultancy team, a wood-fired system was chosen as the most economical and sustainable technology solution. The system is scheduled to be installed prior to the winter 2018 heating season.
