Cromwell College gets new 720kW chip boiler

Ecotec was engaged by Cromwell College late 2019 to supply and install a new wood chip boiler to replace an ageing coal boiler that had serviced the school since its original build. To meet projected growth, a large 720kW system from Austrian manufacturer Viessmann was selected that neatly fitted the existing boilerhouse, keeping building cost to a minimum. The boiler was commissioned late March 2020 and is expected to start duty in May that year.
